So it has been awhile since I have updated or filled you in on my goings on. First I want to apologize for leaving you with the worst comic of all time for over a month while I did nothing. Ke$ha just needs to be cleaned. Like I want to bathe her for hygienic reasons.
Secondly, sorry for not updating or even communicating why I was not updating. I have been really busy, working on law school/medical school apps, starting a new job, and I have also been restoring a space invaders arcade Cabinet(Pics to come). Now that this is all out of the way, updates will return the 3rd of December with one difference. No Wednesday update until life is sorted out.
Thank you all for sticking with the site and I appreciate all the emails I have received about the strip while on the hiatus. They really meant alot!
As some of you know I dabble in Warhammer. Yes the table top miniatures you paint and have fantasy battles with (here’s a picture of my corpse cart).
Anyway my girlfriend started to take an interest in Warhammer and what she would call more complex games. She knew she liked party games such as Catch Phrase and Apples to Apples so she thought maybe she would enjoy some of the stuff I enjoyed. Obviously we couldn’t start her off with Warhammer so I picked up a game that neither of us has played which seemed like a nice gateway to Dominion. The Settlers of Catan, wait for it, card game!
The game is simple enough and it introduces some concepts of deck building games such as resource management, card purchasing and so forth. A game lasts about 20 minutes and she loved it. I enjoy it as a solid card game that is less complicated and time consuming as a game of dominion. The game has some issues as each game essentially ends the same way with a fight over knight and road cards and there may be some balance issues such as a card that allows you to bypass one resource requirement with any other resource. Despite its flaws, it’s a lot of fun, quick and simple. It is great way to get someone who hasn’t had much gaming experience into your world of card and boardgames. After a few days of playing this I decided to graduate her to Dominion and that’s where the next blog post will pick up.
Thank you for the support for the new site and direction. Remember if you see a bug or have a comment or complaint just send me an email! Also for the three of you that asked for it…you can now buy a high quality print of your favorite comic. Simply click on the buy print option underneath the comic itself. Each high quality print is on durable cardstock and is signed!
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh and yeah I am redoing the art again so I don’t hate myself every time I load my own site. So again welcome, whether you have been with us from day one or completely new to UC, thanks for stopping by!
